(Painted Daisy). To 90 cms. Deep crimson, single daisy flowers late spring/summer. Finely-cut, somewhat ferny foliage in a mound. Sun/semi-shade. Cut flowers last well. Cottage garden, mixed border. Dormant in winter.
To 80 cms. Long arching stems of slender bottlebrush like flowers in summer, that are a lovely rosy red colour. Sun. Clump forming habit. Winter dormant.
Height to 60 cms. Masses of large blue flowers on tall stalks. Remove old flowers to prolong flowering spring to autumn. Sun, good drainage.
Large, frilly white flowers, spanning 7.5 cms or more, bloom for many months with diligent dead heading. 60-80 cms. Butterflies & bees love the flowers, they make a great cut flower as well. Sun and good drainage. Always been a popular variety.
(Bugbane). To 1.2 metres.. Tall wands of creamy white bottle-brush flowers are held high above bright green, lacy foliage from mid-summer onwards. Splendid for cutting! Bugbanes prefer a moist, rich soil, away from hungry tree roots. Will tolerate full sun in cool summer regions, otherwise be sure to protect from hot afternoon sun. Winter dormant.
