Large white daisy-like flowers summer to autumn. Prominent, coppery-green, central cones surrounded by large white ray petals that are up to 10 cms long. Sun. Winter dormant.

Height to 120 cms.  Heat tolerant. Flowers during summer. Great as cut or dried flowers. Golf ball sized blue flower heads. Sun and well drained soil. Winter dormant.

Collect. Single trunked shrubby plant that develops a short, stout woody trunk up to 2 metres long, bearing a dense mass of deep green leaves. Small blue to mauve flowers (pink in bud). To 4 metres in height. Biennial or triennial. Dies after flowering but easily self seeds. Specimen plant.

(Bishop's hat). To 30 cms. Lots of pretty pink flowers and attractive foliage. Great slow growing ground cover and perfect for under trees in partial or dense shade. Suits dry soil, shallow or rocky soil and drought conditions.  Winter dormant.

To 20 cms. Flowers July to early August at about the same time as snowdrops. Ideal for lightly wooded or shrubby area – not under evergreens. Humous rich soil that is moist from winter to early spring. Take care when planting as its hard to tell top from bottom. Dormant autumn to early winter.

Height to 1 metre. Striking foliage in rosettes of spikey-edged leaves. Burnished green flowers in summer.  Part/full shade. Tolerates summer drought.  Good for dried flowers and attracting bumblebees.

(Sea Holly). To 60 cms when in flower.   Open umbels of prickly steel-blue flowers which are good for cutting, fresh or dried. Dwarf strain for sunny border. Attractive to butterflies.  Winter dormant.

To 9 cms in height.  Low growing ground cover with lemon yellow flowers over small green leaves. Spring flowering.
