Peltiphyllum peltata
(Darmera peltata). To 1.3 metres. Rounded cymes of numerous 5-petalled pink flowers late spring followed by large rounded leaves. Rounded, deeply lobed, coarsely toothed, dark green leaves with conspicuous veins to 60 cms across, that turn red in autumn. Slowly spreading, perennial, suits some shade. 1 litre pots - winter dormant.

RARE SPECIMEN PLANT. 45 cms. An exotic hybrid with huge, lobed umbrella shaped leaves which are splashed and spotted. Unusual maroon red flowers are followed by fleshy fruits (May apples). Rodgersia pinnata 'superba'
To 1 metre. Rare specimen plant. The bold, divided leaves often take on a bronze caste when they first emerge in spring. Large airy plumes of creamy to deep-pink flowers appear in early to mid-summer, and these are useful for cutting or even drying. With its bold, divided leaves this forms an exotic-looking clump that ads a unique foliage accent to amy moist border. Plants prefer a moist, dappled shade setting, but will grow in full sun at the waterside. Useful as a bold, architectural specimen plant. Water during dry weather. 1 litre pots - winter dorrmant.
