To 35 cms. Narrow lance-shaped leaves that are mottled silver green in an irregular patterns with much smaller speckling along the margins. Sky blue flowers early spring. Shade. Winter dormant.

Rodgersia aesculifolia
To 1 metre. Architectural plant.  Huge, impressive, palmate, wrinkled leaves. The veins and leaf stalks are reddish-brown and densely woolly. In midsummer, the upright flower spikes are made up of white or pink florets. Rodgersias adds drama and definition to gardens in full sun and partial shade. Suits by water, woodland, or in other moist garden sites. Humous rich soil, partial shade to full sun. 1 litre pots - winter dormant.
