Collect November onwards. Single trunket with a short, stout woody trunk up to 2 metres long. Dense mass of deep green leaves. Small blue to mauve flowers (pink in bud). To 4 metres in height. Biennial or triennial. Dies after flowersing but easily self seeds. Very attractive to bees. Specimen plant.
