(Japanese Primrose). Height to 60 cms+. Rosettes of crinkly green leaves. Candelabra whorls of beautiful shell pink flowers. Suits woodland or bog garden, moist borders and the edge of streams. Sun or part shade. Moist soil. Winter dormant.
Pretty with deep golden-yellow flowers with a red flush. Spring flowering and a light second flowering late summer/autumn. Sun or partial shade. Semi-dormant in winter.
To 50 cms. The pretty pink flowers open in the morning and twist closed at night. Summer flowering. Sun or light shade. Moist soil. Ground cover.
20 cms. Summer dormant. Soft crumply oval leaves, scalloped and stalked that bear pale lavender flowers in spring. Part shade.
(Burning Bush). Plants are 2 years old. Mature plants are up to 90 cms in height. Purple-mauve flowers with darker veins early summer, highly fragrant lemon scented leaves. A beautiful plant when in flower and a favourite of mine. Lovely as specimen plant where you can brush past it. Usually take 4 years to flower. Winter dormant.
