(Burning Bush). Plants are 2 years old. Mature plants are up to 90 cms in height. Purple-mauve flowers with darker veins early summer, highly fragrant lemon scented leaves. A beautiful plant when in flower and a favourite of mine. Lovely as specimen plant where you can brush past it. Usually take 4 years to flower. Winter dormant.
To 40 cms. Drought tolerant alpine. Long stems with clusters of light yellow flowers in summer. Average/dry/sandy well-drained soil. Attracts insects.
To 20 cms. Cute wee geum that is dwarf in nature with small deep pink flowers from spring. Sun is best, suits rockery or edge of border. Semi dormant in winter.
Low growing, evergreen, ground cover forming a dense cushion/mat of small, glossy, dark green fingered leaves. Small clusters of yellow flowers in summer. Sun or part shade. Good drainage. Suits edging.
