Pointy, heart-shaped leaves that are medium green with a silvery V-shaped marking and a bronze centre. Sprays of tinyy white flowers late summer to autumn. Part or full shade is best. Winter dormant.

Grow in average to sandy, well-drained, dry soils in full sun. Avoid heavy clay soils. Best flowering is in full sun, however plant foliage appreciates afternoon shade in hot summer climates. Cut back plants up to 1/2 after flowering to help maintain attractive form.

Rounded, deeply lobed, coarsely toothed, dark green leaves with conspicuous veins to 60 cms across, that turn red in autumn. Slowly spreading, rhizomatous perennial that suits part or full shade. Winter dormant.
