(Darmera peltata). .9 to 1.3 metres. Rounded cymes of numerous 5-petalled pink flowers in late spring followed by large rounded leaves. The dark green leaves are rounded, deeply lobed, and coarsely toothed with conspicuous veings. The leaves can be up to 60 cms across and turn red in autumn. Slowly spreadng, rhizomatous perennial that suits part or full shade. Winter dormant.
