75 cms+ when in flower. Pure white petarls are in a horizontal position around large orange-yellow cones. Long-lasting cut flower from summer to autumn. Winter dormant.
To 60 cms in height. Unusual flowers that are a group of tightly packed florets that are backed by petal-like bracts. This makes the flowers look much like a star or a firework. Sun/part shade. Clump forming, hardy perennial. Could include shades of pink or white/green. Winter dormant.

A beautiful plant when in flower and a favourite of mine. Lovely as specimen plant where you can brush past it. Usually take 4 years to flower. Winter dormant.
