There are about 150 different types of perennials and bulbs in the nursery including:

There are a few seed varieties and plastic labels available for sale. Visitors can obtain a printed catalogue and are welcome to wander around and enjoy looking at the variety of lines on offer. Some photos are on display or online.

Candelabra Primrose. Rare variety - seldom available. Burnt orange flower buds open to orange flowers held in tiers on short, 30 cm dark stems. Shorter tham most Candelabra varieties. Winter dormant.
Collect from October onwards. To 2.5 metres. One of the tallest Thalictrum with lovely foliage and flowers. Attractive dark foliage in early spring which turns green and a haze of dusky lavender-pink flowers with starry creamy-yellow stamens, from late spring. Light to full shade and a useful background plants. Winter dormant.
(Giant Cowslip). To 60 cms in height. Candelabra primula and one of the last primulas to flower. Beautiful fragrant pale yellow flowers. Light shade and moist soil. Winter dormant.
To 60 cms. A beautiful hardy variety. Large scalloped foliage. Masses of large deep purple flowers from late spring to summer. Dead-head after flowering to promote new growth and more flowers. Sun or part shade. Winter dormant.
3 large pieces of this pretty dwarf Bearded Iris. Mid to pale blue standards and falls with a darker centre. Spring flowering. Height 25cm.Grow in sun and well drained soil with rhizomes partially exposed to the sun. Divide after flowering every three years to maintain.
