There are about 150 different types of perennials and bulbs in the nursery including:

- Potted bulbs
There are a few seed varieties and plastic labels available for sale. Visitors can obtain a printed catalogue and are welcome to wander around and enjoy looking at the variety of lines on offer. Some photos are on display or online.

Sisyrinchium californicum
(Yellow-Eyed Grass). To 20 cms. Sword-shaped, grey green leaves. Star-shaped, dark-veined, bright yellow flowers in summer. Clump forming. Sun. Suit coastal areas. Tolerates a little shade. Becomes drought tolerant.
Salvia x jamensis 'Salmon Queen'
Height to 50 cms. Fragrant leaves and showy flowers that are a very good salmon colour. Flowers late spring onwards. Long flowering. Sun and good drainage. Attracts bees and butterflies. Beautiful variety.
Salvia x jamensis 'Riverton Red'
To 70 cms. Purple red flowers in summer - very long flowering. Highly fragrant, attracts bees. Sun and good drainage.
Aconitum 'Newry Blue' (Monkshood)
Needs collected or trimmed from mid September. To 1.2 metres. Hooded purply-blue flowers on very erect stems late november to mid-summer. Unusually early for Aconitum. Great for back of border - best staked. Part shade, moist soi. Winter dormant.
Anemone nemorosa mixed
Woodland Anemones. To 10 cms in height. May include blue, white, lemon or pale pink. Spring flowering. Ground cover for border, rock gardens, tubs and around the bases of trees and shrubs. Rich, well-drained soil. Winter dormant. Photos are examples only.
Reineckia carneo - 5 pieces
5 barerooted pieces. Height to 20 cms. Evergreen ground cover for open woodland or around shrubs. Moist shade. Light pink flowers followed by red berries. Glossy rich foliage.
Geranium oxonianum 'Hollywood'
To 75 cms. Largest growing form of G. oxonianum. Shiny green leaves with dark reddish markings. Small light pink flowers with magenta veins. Ground cover. Sun or shade. Winter dormant.
Campanula poscharskyana 'Blue Waterfall'
To 20 cms. Dwarf variety suitable for rock gardens, edging or in tubs/pots. Ground cover. Masses of starry blue flower from spring - very long flowering. Trim back to encourage repeat flowering in autumn.. Sun or light shade. Large, round pots. Winter dormant.
Bergenia Wanaka Wine
To 40 cms. Attractive, large, heart-shaped leaves that are glossy green, turning wine/burgundy in winter. Stalks of pink flowers early spring. Great ground cover for light shade. Drought tolerant.
