Trollius chinensis 'Golden Queen'
(Globeflower). To 70 cms. Globeflowers are extremely popular perennials, bursting into colour in late spring and early summer. This selection has semi-double golden yellow flowers with a contrasting centre of deep orange. Sunny or part-shaded border, also at the edge of a moist woodland. Flowers will last a few days when cut. Shear plants back after blooming to encourage a flush of new leaves to last through the summer. 1 litre pots - winter dormant.
