Brunnera macrophylla
To 45 cms in height. Low maintenance with long lasting sprays of bright blue flowers. Although it is a slow grower, the green leaved species will eventually spread by creeping rhizomes and self-seeding to form a thick and nice ground cover. Easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in part shade. Prefers consistently moist, organically rich soild in shady areas. Winter dormant.

To 30 cms. Small compact, white flowered form of the Marsh Marigold. Suitable for moist soil, bog or shallow water. Kidney shaped dark green leaves, waxy buttercup-like yellow single flowers in spring. Long flowering. Winter dormant

Rare hardy perennial. Climber with twining stems, to 1.7 metres. Suits light (sandy) and medium soils with good drainage. Grow in semi-shade (light woodland) or no shade, moist soil. Solitary flowers occur at the branch tips. The bell-shaped flower is about 2 cms long and wide and is yellow-green with purple spots inside. Winter dormant.
